I am an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with substantial major firm and in house legal and commercial experience. I also have substantial industry experience in biotechnology, information technology licensing and services and supply of equipment and services to the mining and construction industries.
I established Goodman General Counsel Services in 2010 in order to provide my key clients with in house legal services.
I was formerly a Partner with Bird&Bird (previously Truman Hoyle). Prior to that I was senior counsel with The Australian Gas Light Company (AGL)
and a Senior Associate with Baker & McKenzie.
During my time with Bird&Bird, I undertook a number of in-house secondment roles including roles with a listed biotechnology company, a major technology consulting firm and a merchant bank.
I specialise in providing commercially focused general counsel, corporate, commercial and information technology legal services including consulting services, sales contracts, technology licensing and services, acquisitions and divestments, purchase agreements and tenders.
During my time with AGL I was involved in large scale acquisitions and corporate restructuring as well as regulatory related advice and litigation.
While at Baker & McKenzie I was involved in a wide range of commercial and corporate matters and was awarded the Baker &
McKenzie International Graduate Studies Scholarship completing a Masters of Law at the University of London (UCL).

• General Counsel for Intech Solutions Pty Ltd (a supplier of data quality software and services);
• legal consultant for Alto Neuroscience (a US biotechnology company with operations in Australia);
• legal advisor for Geomotion (Australia) (a supplier of geotechnical instrumentation and services);
• senior lawyer for Tomra Sorting Pty Ltd (the Australian subsidiary of Norway based Tomra
which manufactures and distributes sorting and recycling machinery);
• senior in-house lawyer for Medtronic Australasia (the Australian subsidiary of US based Medtronic, a medical device manufacturer and distributor); and
• senior in-house lawyer for Komatsu Australia (the Australian subsidiary of Japan based Komatsu,
a heavy mobile equipment manufacturer and distributor).
